This waffle baker comes with two aluminum grids with non-stick coating that can create waffles up to 7 1/2" in diameter. Its efficient cooking system bakes up to twenty 1 1/4" thick waffles per hour, while its rotating design ensures even, consistent heating. The temperature is adjustable up to 570 degrees Fahrenheit with an orange light to indicate when the unit is heating up. A conveniently located green light always lets you know when this waffle baker is powered on, and thanks to its heavy base and non-skid feet, you can be sure this unit will stay in place when in use.

We are on our 3rd or 4th Waffle Maker since opening 2 years ago... works great at first, then "non-stick" coating starts to stick. We use NON-aeresol "Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray" like they recommend, and that gets us about 6 months out of it - then it gets so built up (even after trying to clean it) that we end up having to get a new one. Waffles start to stick and black pieces start breaking off into the waffles. If there were better options for spray, or how to clean it, we could probably get more life out of it!

I’ve bought quite a few of these machines. We make about 25-30 waffles a day and unfortunately this machine just doesn’t keep up. After 3 months, both sides have peeling Teflon and I don’t know why this is happening so often. It’s unfortunate that such a high price commercial piece of equipment can’t keep up with my restaurant’s needs.

Makes great waffles, just needs to be replaced frequently. We've been using these for years in our brunch cafe, and they make great waffles, but we can never seem to get more than 6 or 8 months out of any one unit before something goes wrong. The plates are not removable for cleaning, so unfortunately its impossible prevent buildup even when using the correct spray oil on them. The latest unit we got seven months ago produced 3,000 waffles before the wires leading to the heating elements started shorting out every time it was opened, which works out to about 10¢ per waffle for the machine which is not too bad. This this the first time we got the extended warranty, so hopefully that helps. I wish they made them cleanable and easily repairable (it's really not, I've tried), but this is the best deep begin waffle maker I've found so far...

The day we got the unit it worked very well. After another week, the heating element on one side went out. We had to wait several weeks for our local repairman to look at it. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a common issue on this model. Trying to get ahold of someone to get it replaced with warranty

We only use it one time, the nonstick coating fell off. Since our opening delayed a few months, the warranty has expired and the return policy expired, the customer service said couldn’t do anything.

This is the second waffle machine I have purchased. Both began wonderful, however within 3 months waffles began sticking horribly and heating elements have burned out. We have also replaced both grids and heating elements to no avail!

To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil, wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin or using Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray. While other sprays can actually cause food to stick more readily, Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray is made to work with regular or non-stick waffle irons alike!
